FangHai / Design & Manufacturing

From a lineto a piece of furniture

Connect design ideas with materials, joints and manufacturing detail. Our China-based design team supports development; robotic welding is planned around knock-down components; finishes, assembly and packing are confirmed step by step.

Turn referencesinto a shared brief

Our design department discusses appearance, structure, materials and intended use. Dimensioned drawings, finish samples and sample approval give sourcing requirements a common reference.

Give the linesa structure

Tube furniture begins with part dimensions, cuts, bends and joint positions. Review cutting, punching, bending, hole making and deburring against the design, including assembly fit and exposed edges.

Fixture-weld knock-down joints—legs to mounting plates, tube T-joints and partial frame sections. Parts stay separate for export packing and overseas assembly.

04 / Assembly & packing

From fitted partsto a packed product

Discuss trial assembly, hardware, glides and protection during sampling. For knock-down orders, align hardware packs, instructions, corner protection and cartons, together with the agreed inspection requirements.

Align the details during sampling

Appearance matters.So does fit.

Give the sample, drawings and order a shared set of requirements.

  1. Metal finishes

Discuss colour, sheen, texture and coverage against a sample and intended use. Coating and other finish options are assessed per product.

  2. Panels & upholstery

Align woodgrain or stone-look finishes, edges, fabrics and seating feel so a collection has a shared material reference.

  3. Fit & assembly

Review hole positions, connections, stability and moving-part fit. Raise load or market-specific testing requirements before development.

Colour samples, materials and inspection points are confirmed in writing per product and order.

SOURCING NOTES / FAQ

A clearer start to sourcing

From references to packing requirements, agree the important details before production.

01What should I include in my first inquiry?

Share a category or design-series reference, estimated quantities, target market and any changes to size, materials or colour. Attach drawings or reference images if available, and tell us what is still undecided.

02Can I source or adapt the designs shown?

Images illustrate product and design directions. Start with a collection and discuss dimensions, structure, finishes, upholstery and coordinated pieces. Feasibility, final specifications and pricing are assessed against your brief and confirmed in writing.

03Can you work from our drawings or brand brief?

Send drawings, references, intended use and brand requirements for discussion with our design department. We can review structure, materials and appearance. Please ensure you have permission to use any supplied designs and branding.

04How are MOQ and mixed-model orders handled?

Minimum quantities depend on the model, materials, finishes and order combination. List quantities for each model and any mixed-packing needs so we can assess a workable proposal and quotation.

05How do sampling and production work?

We align the brief and drawings before discussing sample cost, shipping and timing. Production is scheduled after the sample or agreed specification, order and packing details have been approved.

06Can packing and assembly instructions be customized?

Tell us your sales channel, carton-size limits, markings, hardware packs and instruction languages. Knock-down construction, protection and carton layouts are reviewed per product. Raise packing-test requirements before quotation.

07How should we agree quality and inspection requirements?

Share the target market, intended use, key dimensions and required tests. During sample approval, agree finish, weld appearance, assembly and packing checks, together with any pre-shipment inspection. Specific certifications are not assumed without confirmation.

08Does a quotation include freight, duties or a fixed lead time?

Specify the destination and preferred trade terms in your inquiry. Pricing scope, payment, transport and production timing are governed by the quotation and order confirmed in writing.
